Well, I'll just share my thoughts on the colors of this blue variant. As everyone knows, Haolonggood loves to recycle colors and patterns across many figures, and this blue Iguanodon variant is no different. They borrowed the colors from the Saurolophus this time, and I have to admit, in the promo photos, the colors looked quite good on this particular model; it almost became my favorite of the two... until I got my hands on it. While the base color running throughout the figure is perfectly applied and the orange accent on the top of the nose looks great, everything is ruined by those light gray, heavily applied, wavy patterns on the neck. They're simply jarring to me. And again, the paint application is uneven: there are speckles on one side of the nose, while the other side is completely devoid of them. Of course, nature is rarely symmetrical, but this is a figure we're talking about, so more attention to such things should be paid.
New and interesting sculpt, Standard HLG colouration…
