This review is based solely on the SECOND RUN of the Haolonggood Alamosaurus.
I received my figure about six weeks ago. This is a nicely sculpted figure with a fairly decent paint pattern. However, this ( 2nd. Run ) figure is disappointing. Throughout this figure you can see and feel raised part lines in several areas. These part lines were caused during the molding process, either from a defected or worn mold or the mold itself was not properly prepped before use. To look at the figure reminds me of the dinosaur figures I purchased decades ago, before care and thought went into producing realistic figures for collectors. In today’s time we now have several companies producing high quality, realistic and as close to accurate as possible, dinosaur figures. After all, isn’t that why we buy them ? Well, I was informed that Haolonggood finds this to be acceptable. My message to Haolonggood is: this is NOT acceptable to me and I’m sure, to no other collector as well. Haolonggood dropped the ball on this one and with their response, it leaves me with a loss of respect for them as a major player of dinosaur figures. I will need to decide if I will ever purchase another second run figure from this company.

A fantastic model, wonderfully sculpted and painted and it is huge! My order arrived safe and swiftly.
Absolutely superb sculpting and painting. This imposing figure is sculpted in a casual walking pose, which I feel is perfect for a gigantic Alamosaurus. Although I usually prefer the more colorful version of a dinosaur model, I chose the plain, grey version of this one, as I feel that is the most realistic representation . Although this is considered the "plain" version, there is plenty of subtle shading, including faint stripes along the back of the neck, body and tail. The underside of the entire creature is a wonderful contrasting pinkish color and there is a red area on the top of its head. This huge model is 1/35 scale, so it ties in well, with the other dinosaur models in my collection. This is a very large, very well constructed, substantial model, which I feel is well worth the price I paid. It is a focal point of my dinosaur collection.
