Nanmu Studio has provided an explanation regarding paint chipping at the joints:
"The joints are made of POM material, which doesn't hold paint well due to flexibility needed for rotation. The design prioritizes durability. Paint chipping at joints is considered normal and not covered by after-sales service."
PS: The paint chipping only occurs at the joints; there is no paint chipping on the figures' body. The main body parts are mainly made of PVC, with only the joints made of POM material.

This is hands down the highest quality figure I've ever bought. The sculpting and paint job are phenomenal, and it blows Mattel's collector's line out of the water. Only bad thing I can say (and that's minor, since it's sitting on my shelf) is that the bendable part of the tail comes off if messed with too much. I'll definitely be buying more Smart Series figures in the future.
