I love how my nanmu figures look together 😍

This is by far the best detailed articulated Tyrannosaurus Rex figure from Jurassic Park that you can buy. I've never seen a closer sculpt to the T-Rex then this! It is simply beautiful. Some of the joints are quite loose so the stand that the figure comes with is required for most poses. As long as you have time and patience it can be done. The paint does chip so being very careful is essential when handling the figure. Paint chipping at the joints can't be helped, as said in the description. This figure is just amazing and it makes the Hammond Collection look like children's toys. Thank you Nanmu!

The paintwork and general look is unquestionably spot on with the TLW Buck and mops the floor with most dinosaur figures. The articulation especially blew me away: consistently firm, yet not too tight nor too loose, with range I haven’t experienced in awhile when it comes to other figures.

The only nitpick I have is with the stands, as although they’re usable, they couldn’t used some sort of base to apply friction and keep it from sliding off. However, this T. Rex is so well balanced it doesn’t need one! Great work team, if not your best.

I continue to be floored with Nanmu’s dinosaur figures. Their recent Alpha 3.0 Tyrannosaurs and the Beserker Empress are nothing short of spectacular. I’ve been waiting for super articulated dinosaur figures like this for the past 30+ years

I ordered my Nanmu Smart Series Tyrannosaurus rex from Lana Time Shop, and it is a stellar addition to my collection. This figure boasts an incredible range of articulation and beautiful detailing. If you are looking for an articulated, Jurassic Park style Tyrannosaurus rex, this is easily the best one on the market.

​I decided on the green variant, and the paint is exceptionally well-applied. When I began photographing the figure, I thought it would be fitting to include some family photos alongside other 1/35th scale models from Terra by Battat, the Safari Carnegie Collection, Papo, Rebor, Recur, PNSO, and Haolonggood. Seeing them all together is truly phenomenal. It is remarkable to witness the evolution of our scientific understanding of the species through these models, even over the relatively short span of time from the 1990s to the present day.

​My only minor critiques are that the figure is a bit front-heavy when posed without the included stand and that, for a 1/35th scale, it runs rather large. However, neither of these issues are deal-breakers. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on one, you certainly won't regret it.

With perfect articulation, screen accurate detail and paint, and an overall quality finish, Nanmu's Smart Series Tyrannosaurus figure manages to fulfill the long dreamed perfect depiction of the T. rex from JP in action figure form.

Man I got the Indominus, so when I saw the Rex I knew I had to get it. The detail & articulation on this figure is amazing.

I saw videos about this figure and I was quite excited to get him. And it did not disappoint. While it’s a little smaller than the bigger dinosaurs, it definitely makes up for it with the sculpt and articulation.

Given that this variant has mainly cosmetic differences in the muzzle and other color schemes, I'll only touch on those in this review. This figure clearly represents the male T-rex "Buck," and it does a great job. When these models were announced and as production progressed, I was worried the colors would be too saturated on this variant, but fortunately, Nanmu studio corrected this, and we got a nice mix of subdued colors. The colors blend beautifully, and there are no errors (at least on my copy). And then there are the previously mentioned "cosmetic differences" in the form of scars and wounds on the muzzle, beautifully sculpted and painted. The figure itself is great, but paired with the "female" variant, it looks even better. In summary, this is a great variant of a very good figure, and I highly recommend it.

With releases like these, it's hard not to call Nanmu Studio my favorite publisher of (movie) dinosaur figures. This female T-rex figure is brilliant. The detail on the figure's surface is amazing. There's truly no room to not admire the craftsmanship of this model. The colors are also very well applied. For me, the best aspect of this figure is that it's an action figure and the poseability is excellent. 98% of the joints moved smoothly right out of the box, but I mainly had to warm up the knees and ankles because they were very stiff. This figure also proves that Nanmu Studio is constantly improving its releases, which is truly appreciated. In short, a great figure for Jurassic Park fans or any dinosaur fan. I highly recommend it.

Very good quality and everything about it is good! Just the right leg is VERY. VERY stiff.

These figures are unbelievable. They capture the onscreen likenesses perfectly and have the best poseability I've ever seen on a Rex figure. And on top of that they have some good weight to them are are (by collector figure standards) pretty sturdy!

Sounds like hyperbole but I've dreamt of figures like this since I saw the movies as a kid. Cannot recommend highly enough and will likely be getting more from the same line.

Worth every penny. Beautiful paint apps on the body and mouth, amazing articulation (THEY CAN SCRATCH THEIR CHINS) these are perfection.
