Rheic 1/35 Xiphactinus Model

In hand I feel the paint job is a bit jarring and quite different from the website photos. I understand there being variations and such of course but the head, fins, and tail appear to be done by three separate people. The body is superb and beautiful but the fins appear to have a cheap gold paint on them while the head is a very unnatural orange that doesn’t fit with the rest of the sculpt. Even the teeth are painted the same orange color as the face and the tail has a mark on it while the belly has a random varnish blob on it. Unfortunately the finish on the models face and fins seem to preclude any sort of paint fix I could do to make it seem less cartoony. I absolutely love the sculpt, but the paint job leaves a lot to be desired
